Meet the Winners: Mummy's Organics

It’s been a couple of weeks since we announced the winners at the Bambini Baby Awards and I’d like to now begin a series of blogs where we take a more in-depth look at the winners and their stories. I have to say, this is one of my favourite parts of my job as I really enjoy learning about the team behind the brands, finding out what their original inspirations were and seeing what their goals are for the future. 

I’m going to begin with one of the biggest winners at the Bambini Baby Awards which was Mummy’s Organics who picked up ten awards in the following categories:

This brand was founded in 2020 by a mother/daughter team (Odette and Sara) with expertise in midwifery and nutrition.  Odette has over 20 years’ experience working as a midwife and during her career she specialised in natural births. She realised that there was a lack of suitable products available to expectant mums and she wanted to provide them with natural products which would assist in delivery. Her daughter Sara who has a professional background in nutrition had the skills to bring these ideas to life and to make high-quality natural baby products available to everybody. 

Each one of Mummy’s Organics products is produced after being carefully created by a team of midwives with extensive knowledge of all issues surrounding natural births and they use this expertise to create effective products using natural and environmentally friendly ingredients. 

To underpin their eco-friendly credentials, the brand is also committed to using sustainable packaging methods, taking care to support agricultural supply chains and donating to local London-based charities. 

Odette generously shares her wealth of experience and knowledge in some great blogs which are available on their website. Most recently she has posed a fantastic piece which provides  advice on Giving Birth During a Pandemic. The post does an excellent job of reducing possible anxiety around giving birth in the current period and recommends techniques and products to make the experience go as smoothly as possible.

Another blog by Odette gives 21 Tips from an Expert on How to Breastfeed, advice which I know  is really valuable to a lot nursing mothers while she has also posted a Breastfeeding Bread Recipe (Boosts Milk Production) and Weaning advice from expert to ensure it's a stress free experience for you and your baby

It’s clear that there is a real passion behind this brand and a total dedication to helping people with giving birth that is combined with huge expertise. Mummy’s Organics were deserved winners at the 2022 Bambini Awards and despite being a relatively new company, offer a great sense of confidence in the products due to their extensive experience and skills.
